Murray Software, LLC is a software company based in Portland, Maine. You can reach us at info@pmurray.com with any question about this policy or about information we hold.

This website

pmurray.com is a static site. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising trackers, has no user accounts, and has no forms—getting in touch means emailing us directly. Our hosting provider keeps standard server request logs, including IP addresses and basic request details, which are used only to operate and secure the site.

Email you send us

If you email us, we keep that correspondence so we can reply and keep a record of our conversation. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to marketing lists.

Our eBay integration

We operate software that connects to our own eBay seller account through eBay's authorized OAuth process. It uses eBay's APIs to publish listings, respond to Best Offers and buyer messages, and complete sales. In doing so it handles order, offer, and message information—which can include a buyer's eBay username, contact details, and shipping address.

That information is used only to carry out and communicate about the transaction it belongs to. We do not sell it, use it for marketing, or share it with anyone except where completing the sale requires it, such as providing a shipping address to a carrier. We store the minimum needed to manage the sale and keep ordinary business records, and we delete it when it is no longer needed for that purpose.

eBay account deletion and closure

We subscribe to eBay's Marketplace Account Deletion and Closure notifications at https://pmurray.com/ebay/deletion-notify. When eBay notifies us that a user has closed their account or requested deletion of their data, we delete the information we hold about that user. You can also ask us directly, at info@pmurray.com, to delete information we hold about you.

Security

Access credentials and API tokens are held in encrypted secret storage, and access to the systems that process this information is limited to the people and services that need it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
